The Ascension

On Ascension Day  Jesus said it was time to go back to see God in heaven and Jesus was very happy. Jesus ascended  and Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid” and then Jesus left. The disciples were not afraid because Jesus said he will be by their side forever.

ANZAC Day

On ANZAC day this year we celebrated on Saturday April the 25th. We eat ANZAC cookies and we wear poppy badges. We remember the soldiers that died in the wars that were far from home. At the place where the soldiers died, they are  surrounded by poppies. That’s why they are symbols of ANZAC Day.

I enjoyed making my poppy sun catcher which is up on our classroom window to remind us of those men who died.
